Rock On

What did you learn? How did you apply the marketing mix? Who was your target market and how did you choose to position yourself in the market? How did you combine the 7-key functions of marketing in your project?
The assignment was really fun creating a band, working together with your team mates was really exciting.In this project i learned how time and management is really difficult for bands espically with their tours.i also learned how to become a better team member and how to use new stuff on the computer. We applied the marketing mix by researching what type of music teens listen to and how much thet are willing to spend on a concert and CD's.The 4p's thtat we used was the product was the band.The places were the area that the concerts was in. The prices were how much the concert tickets would cost. The type of promotion we used was or in this case was hot topic. Our target markets were teens because they are the most people that listened to rock music and the way i chose myself to put in market was because i am a teen who listens to rock music. We combined the seven key function of the marketing by designig a rock band that their music based on the real life situations how people themselves can relate to. The way we distriubeted our products was by posters and t-shirts saying the 2009 falling darkness tour.the way we sold our product was by compact disk at our sponor stores and other stores that sell electronics. We gathere our information by reaseaching what people want in music and what kind of lyrics they like. We priced our product by researching what people are willing to spend on concert tickets and on Compact Disk. We promoted our product by putting up posters and selling shirts advertising our band up coming tour.

my springbreak

my springbreak was alright. ididnt do alot but on sunday my family and i went out to eat at indian resturant as my birthday present and also as my paraents anniversery. i turned 19 and and 2 days later it was my paraents 20th anniversery. Also during spring break i played soccer with my friends even though i sucked at it. it was fun though hanging out with your friends. i also caught up to the new series the legend of the seeker which is an awesome show.

tranportation of goods

the game was about how business is about transporting goods from one place to another how they work in real life. it showed us how natural causes might delay a good and there is competition among transporting goods. this game also provided us how to work together as team also coming with new solutions to solve how to transport the salt and water.
